Meet Our Coaches
A well-respected business colleague once told Jay, “You have a mind for business and a heart for seeing people succeed.” Perhaps that’s why he looks at his business has more than just a job. He sees it as a vocation, a calling to come alongside executives, and help them to get to where they can be.
For over 20 years, Jay has helped leaders, entrepreneurs, and teams of all sizes dream big, set goals and reach their objectives: “I help leadership gain perspective on where they currently are, help them identify where they need to go, create an actionable plan to get there, and keep them accountable in implementing it.”
Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan Jay helps companies, nonprofits, and ministries grow their organizations, improve operations and expand their markets. A business owner himself, Jay has developed ways to streamline processes, improve teams and radically boost productivity. He feels the best way for overworked leaders to “reclaim their life” is leveraging the systems, tools, and frameworks that will catalyze high-quality decision making across their entire organization.
Best of all, his system has been proven to work! Jay has had the privilege to coach and consult hundreds of firms, including Herman Miller, Michelin, Eloqua (now part of Oracle), Ariba, General Motors, Medtronic, NCR, Harte-Hanks, Toshiba, Rubbermaid, Act-On Software, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Haworth, and Pitney Bowes.
Prior to launching his coaching practice, Jay was Founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Annuitas, a firm helping companies maximize their return on sales and marketing. He was a keynote speaker, facilitator and popular trainer at conferences and seminars on lead generation and management.
Previously, Jay was Managing Partner at Hidalgo & DeVries, a marketing research and strategy firm. He was responsible for overall sales and client management. While there, he created a closed-loop lead development program used by clients including American Seating, Herman Miller and PPOM (a division of Blue Cross Blue Shield).
